Thank you for visiting the Fine Arts Building at the Living Green Expo's 10th Anniversary this year.  We hope you had a great weekend and Mother's Day.

The 2011 Living Green Expo's sustainable art show was held May 7-8th at the State Fair Grounds' Fine Arts Center in St. Paul

Titled “Art As Gateway for Community Engagement: Sustaining Nature and Culture”, the exhibit featured artwork in a variety of green and sustainable mediums as well as performance art.

This event demonstrated how the arts play an integral part in communicating crucial ideas on the environment and sustainability.

TCMOCA's Vice President and Hamline University and University of Minnesota Professor of Art, Rosyle Ultan, curated the show.TCMOCA Board Members participated as artists this year, including Virajita Singh and Matthew Krontor

We also had TCMOCA artists participate in the art exhibition, including TCMOCA participating artists like Bart Vargas (images reflected on TCMOCA's website on the e-Collection page), David Feinberg and Joonja Lee Mornes.

TCMOCA's Video was exhibited at the
2nd Moving Frames Festival
in Mytilene, Greece on September 24th and 25th, 2010

This year's Moving Frame Festival took place at the open spaces of the archaeological monuments of Yeni Tzami and Tarssi Hamam at the center of the Mytilene old town.

Angela and Nicola Demonte of TCMOCA use of art as a vehicle in health-conscious and sustainable mixed media.  Works on display with the “Midwest Arts in Healthcare Network Showcase Exhibit” Juried Group Art Exhibition for the 2010 Society for Arts In Healthcare (SAH) Conference was held from April 1st through May 11th, 2010 at the Medica Skyway Senior Center. The exhibit coincided with the Arts in Healthcare Celebration Month culminating with the international Society for the Arts in Healthcare conference.

Saturday, October 10th and Sunday the 11th, 2009 -- TCMOCA Board of Director and acclaimed Artist, Tacoumba Aiken presents: Paint Along with Tacoumba: “Living Mural”: Well known Lowertown artist, Tacoumba Aiken set up in the PASPider, an innovative trailer/tent created out of recycled materials for Public Art in St. Paul by Twin Cities artist Christopher Lutter-Gardella. Tacoumba had paints and canvas available for all Art Crawl visitors to “get their hands into art,” and paint on the mural. Student helpers from ArtStart were available to assist. Sponsored by the Art Crawl, with help from Public Art St. Paul and Ramsey County, and with funding from the MN State Arts Board.
