The Twin Cities Museum of Contemporary Art (TCMOCA) reinvents what art is. We define our core values to be imaginative, creative, and as a catalyst for change. The museum connects artists and public in the shared experience of new media, technology and methods at the crossroads of art and culture. Integral to the uniqueness of TCMOCA is our commitment to a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified center, that also meets other green building standards. TCMOCA’s dynamic educational opportunities implement visionary practices toward sustainable living.
TCMOCA is dedicated to the understanding and appreciation of contemporary art, architecture, design, and visual culture. The online museum connects the public through educational programs, special exhibitions, publications, research initiatives, and new technology. As an environmental steward, the organization’s goal is to create one of the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified Platinum Level art museum's in the state of Minnesota.
